Ibanez Lawsuit Rick with neck through

I had a Univox Stereo Bass back in the day.
My main bass at the time was a 79 Ric 4003. I decided I needed a backup bass that would hopefully cover similar sonic territory.
I eventually found the Univox in a pawn shop for $200-ish. I really didn't expect it but it became my main bass. The fake Ric was basically a better Ric than the real one.
I loved that thing. It sounded great, felt great, and even looked awesome. Then American Airlines killed it. It was in an ATA flight case. But when I got back to D/FW the case was open and the bass was beat all to hell. There were chunks out of the body and binding and the neck made an 'S' curve.
They said it was my own fault for not having it properly packaged., and then offered me $100 for it.
American Airlines sucks.
