Ibanez Mode and Spector Dimension at local GC

This my second time checking this Mode 1605. It is used and is $1,099, that is $400 cheaper than a new one. GC has that 45 day return policy if that trussrod is not up to par.

I tried Dimension again because those fanned frets still intrigue me. I am honestly thinking I could get used to it after all.

I played a blue Dimension 5er at my local GC last year sometime before I had gotten my Dingwall. Felt strange. Just like every other Spector I’ve ever played. LOVE the sound of the NS stuff with the EMG’s.

Those Ibanez Modes really are great sounding basses.

The modes are great, also Ibanez has some more subtle fanned frets. I’m not a fanned fret guy at all, but something that just adds an inch or two, works better for me. After 43 years of playing my hand is used to what has always been.
