Ibanez redo...

I have an old GSR205 that has two Ibanez Dynamix jazz style pickups(not liking these at all). This is my cheaper bass and im not looking to go crazy expensive on the upgrade pickups; should i replace the jazz pickups or bore it out for some humbuckers? What options should i look at and how hard is the wiring for passive Ibanez basses? Thanks in advance!!

Those look pretty neat SGD, how hard is the rewiring process?
