Ibanez Short scale, multiscale, headless 5. Schwing!

Really curious about this too. I've been GASing for an EHB1005 for a while, but now I'm thinking that the SMS might be a good fit for me. Very handy size for jamming in my home studio, and for fly dates.

If the reduced scale length doesn't impact the tone in any significant way, I'm liking the idea
 
Hey guys, sorry it took so long to get back on here, just life getting in the way, as I'm sure you know. I'm not going to be posting any sort of in depth review but I could probably answer some questions if you would like.

@Naigewron I haven't played it through my full rig yet so I can't say for certain, but from what I have messed around with it at home it doesn't seem to be lacking in the tone department, of course, opinions will vary, but I will say the knobs in active mode do have a lot of range. I also pretty much got it for the same reason you stated, I wanted something that'll be easier to play sitting in my chair at home, and it is well suited for that.
