Right now, I have the black and tort. Fender is making me a sunburst and tort as we speak. 
It's the deluxe though, it's active and has the noiseless pickups. I would have grabbed the standard, but I need to extra volume to get over the marching band...

Fenders are cool becuase you can find pickguards all over, I would like to try a white pearloid on this one...

keithbmi, i just had an amazing discovery.
deluxe special p bass. p body, j neck, p&j pups, active, noiseless pups, MIM, 550 bucks or so.
now that is a plan, for only a 100 bucks more.
and i may get it in chrome red, with a gold PG, real nifty. or looking at that or navy blue and a gold PG.
