Ibanez SR Premium SR1300 vs SR1820

Hi, other than differences in wood, I can't see anything else that is different in the specs, or is there?

AFAIK The SR1300 does have Titanium rods. So far it seems its just that the SR1300 has a Ash / Walnut top and the SR1820 has a Walnut/Flamed Maple top. I'm guessing that its purely cosmetic, and I would say I prefer the look of the SR1820.

That's why I wrote "unknown"... At least I couldn't confirm the existence of Titanium rods inside 1300's neck from current specs shown on Ibanez website:

Yes, I say that. Quite a few shops are advertising the SR1300 as having Titanium rods, but I guess I'll need to email Ibanez to be absolutely certain.

I think they dropped the rods in the 1400s and below when they changed the woods. If you want the rods make sure you are getting a 2017 model (wenge, bubinga, rosewood).

This is correct. 2016 and 2017 have kts, 2018 does not.
This is the 2016 catalog. 2017 is the same.
