Ibanez sr2600 get the lowest action

Finally I got luthier assistance, the bass definetly needed a fret leveling.
(the bass is brand new but manufactured in 2018, probably it lost the moisture in the shop and the freatboard lost it's original shape)

I just received the bass. It was set up with the neck too flat for my taste (0.3mm or even less) in the 8th fret (fretiing the 1st and 24th).
With this set up the action was really low in the 12th fret (close to 1.5mm) but in the 24th 2.3mm (and still a little buzz sometimes fretting the 12-14th when plucking hard).

I loose the rod 1/4, now the relief is around 0,5mm and I set up the bridge a bit lower, now I have an action of 2mm in the 24th and also in the 12th. There is no buzz anymore.
I clearly prefer this set up (probably many of you prefers the other one).

Probably I could try to lower the action more with this neck relief, but risking some buzzing sometimes, and I am quite happy now.

How are you measuring your neck relief?

Sure, but what with? A ruler with what units of measurement on it? It just seems like if you're using something with millimeters it has to be hard to know the difference between .3 and .5. Or maybe you're just estimating it without a ruler of some kind?

This is why I use feeler gauges.

Yes It is an estimation, with a ruler with 0.5mm divisions because I have not feeler gauges.

So the measurement is not precise, but enough for have an idea.

Actually, the relief probably Its a little more of 0.5 since i can see the full 0.5mm line (with not empty gap after It)
