Ibanez SR2600 - steel frets?

Hello, bass fans. I need an Ibanez expert. I have an SR500 that I like, but the new sr2400 and sr2600 models have caught my eye - especially after seeing stainless steel frets listed on the SR2600 (I have a Cerulean Blue S guitar and really like it). I have a few guitars with steel frets and love them.

The catalog listings are inconsistent. The 2018 catalog lists steel frets, but 2019 doesn't. The current web page does. The SR2400 model that I was considering doesn't in any catalog, so it's likely out of the running.

I'm afraid that if I find a 2019 used it may not have steel frets. Is it more likely that they dropped that feature for a year, or that the catalog just didn't list them. Do any Ibanez experts here know?

Sorry for my unclear pre-coffee posting. I was mentioning that I had also considered the SR2400, but steel frets were not mentioned for that model in any catalog year, so I'm no longer considering it.

I am interested in the SR2600, and wanted to make sure that the 2019 model year had steel frets as I look at the used market. Steel frets are listed for the SR2600 in the 2018 and 2020 catalogs, but not 2019.

i see what you're saying. interesting that they would skip a year like that but i don't see a change in the parts listing for the neck between 2018 and now. that's not really concrete evidence though. neither are the brochures as they can have errors but it's the best we can refer to without actual examples. it's difficult to track this spec because it's not something that can be identified with just a photo.
