Ibanez vs. Fendor

I wish every OP post like Jimmy's could turn into a thread like this. Most fun I've had in the basses forum in weeks and I only made one post :p

Yes, the thread made me chuckle... sorry Jimmyonbass, no offense was intended by my comment about the Ewok Fendor from Endor, as it was not directed at you or anybody in particular. I was jus' havin' fun with the word. :D

Btw Kwesi, I liked your YouTube videos.:bassist: Jimmyonbass, you should look at them, and ask Kwesi (and others) more specific questions.

Meanwhile, back at the Fendor Factory

OMG! The trees have been butchered!! Maybe they were bought out by a big, foreign manufacturer?

It's hard to get opinions about Fenders here on TB because you rarely see a thread about them. Hopefully you will get a Fender and make a thread about Fenders so we can finally have a discussion about them. From the very little information I have seen about Fender basses I reckon that they are like Ibanez basses but bigger.

Possibly the most quotable poster on TB, for me.

:)

Love it!

Bah. Fenders always sound better with a tort guard and flats.

That's all you need to know. No need cluttering up TB with threads that always come back to that same answer anyway...

:D :hiding:

But seriously, OP, you listed two pretty different basses. That's like asking someone if you should eat an apple or an orange. Two totally different things bro, one isn't superior, it's just different.

+1

I own an Ibanez ATK700, and it's a beauty. I can get any tone I want out of it and it plays great. For my metal.

And I also own a Fretless Squier VMJ, and it's a beauty. I can get any tone I want out of it and it plays great. For my jazz.
