Nope. No prior reference to reference. Unless you're a Social/Communist.ibid

That's so sad.My original question was: Ampeg SVT210AV or PF-112 to go with an Ampeg PF-350 head I bought.

Why is it sad? You aren't an Ampeg fan? That's so sad.![]()
Thank you @iagtrplyr . As far as hilarious responses, that's on them. I'm a seasoned player of 40 plus years probably much like yourself. I filter the junk out and move on, it doesn't bother me.Alaska, unfortunately you're not scribing this from the Combo Club where you wouldn't be "hilariously" insulted for liking a certain brand. I don't believe it's the gentleman's favorite amp maker, but continue looking for the replies that'll look to help you and not make you feel like you're doing something wrong.
As for me, I have no experience with the 112, but I owned the 210 cab for a bit and even though it's a tad light in the bottom (of which you can add bass tone to taste), it's all Ampeg with great mids and smooth highs. My earsr heard tight bass and perfect for low to medium rehearsals and gigs. It's also an easy schlep due to it's light weight. There are some great examples of its sound on TheTube.

I might hold off until I travel to Anchorage where there's a couple music stores where I can try them out.

I own a pair of the 210AV's, selected them over the PF-210 for a bunch of reasons, partly tone, partly weight, partly I wanted to easily elevate some cones up by ear level. A couple years ago touring I played through a 350/112 setup, it was offered, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Not my tone, not unpleasant, just not my wheelhouse. I also felt the combination was anemic, but that's almost certainly because it was massaging my calves and not my ears...
Ah, a seasoned veteran, well I've told you my experience, don't let me keep you from warming up the car...![]()
Ibid
Yes, I know, not the strict definition, but like the jazz folks say, "Just fake it."
Yep. Prolly that too... et al.....I thought Ibid was an online auction site.

Sad? Au contraire! A PF350 and 210AV makes a great portable small rig. Add another 210AV for bigger rooms. That's so sad.![]()
