then i was is fact mistaken. i knew it was some kind of blue metallic cuz i durn near bought one.

The shades will vary slightly from year to year. Lake placid is the darkest blue, Ocean Turquoise has a slight greenish tint. Ice blue is lighter still, and blue agave is just hint lighter than ice blue. Then there is also gun metal blue(fender never used it I don't think)which is a bit more silver than agave, and then still there is firemist silver which is silver with a slight bluish tint originally. Anybody confused yet?

I think it's tricky in real life to differentiate between the various Fender blues, and to do so from pictures over the internet is nigh-impossible.
