Why don't you just consider your first gig as a paid "practice session"? Don't read too much into it and certainly don't give up on it so easily. Most likely your next gig will come off much more smoothly (and successfuly). Good luck!!....that said, I'm going to play my ass off and try to have fun but our first gig may be the last. Wish me luck
Why would you want to go there, when you can go here…I told ChatGPT about your circumstances and asked for some band names:
Ok, those seem pretty lame, so I asked for something edgier:
You're welcome.
What if they called themselves "Age"….and they can be introduced as the band age.No band name? Just call yourself "The Band"...oh wait.
Have fun!
There's nothing like the real thing. Bass playing or whatever. I was a pilot in my real-life career. Microsoft Flight Simulator ain't the same thing. You (and your passengers) don't die if you screw up.Ah, this dangerous and unpredictable thing with gigs... this is the best part. Social media musicians will never feel this cold in spine.
Why does it seem that certain bands are sinking to a lower level?
