was yours the Greg Bennet series and not the "artist" series?

It was the "Artist" series. I bought it new in '97 for somewhere around $500. It was set up when I bought it and, believe it or not, I never had to set it up again. It held tune great. I played gigs for 2000 plus with it. Here is a link to the only recording that I have available. Please excuse the music and recording quality. This stuff is old... It was recorded direct with no DI box. Basically just straight into the board. Link Removed

mine was a 98, and I bought it used for 100 bucks. I didn't know they made an active version and always thought it was the Bennett series with the gold hardware and 4 knobs...

It did have the gold hardware but said "Artist" on the headstock. It also had four knobs. One of which was the push/pull active/passive control. It would have been cool to get it for a $100, though. Oh well, it served it's purpose well for many years.
