I think that that's an Ampeg scroll bass (somebody will probably chime in with a more detailed model number).

Nope, it's an Ampeg alright. These are great basses, and rare as hen's teeth so if you're thinking of investing in one you'll need to have a few grand kicking about...

i couldnt see the video but ive owned my 1967 ampeg scrollbass for over 15 years i have recorded with my bass on several cd's and soon another. i play in a salsa orquestra its as close as you'll get to an upright bass. mine has the upright sound!...im looking for another body as i have an extra neck!
