Identify this wood pretty please

Headstock logo, by chance? That was we can look through their models/specs.
 
Definitely mahogany. I've owned 3 mahogany guitars/basses and they all have that same grain pattern. Mahogany is a bit heavy, but not the heaviest. It has a fat smooth nasally sound that with the right electronics can sound great. It's best paired with a harder wood such as padauk or maple.

That looks nothing like the Ibanez Musician.
