I just want to know when "Highschool" became a werd. Pardon me, wurd. Wird?
As for ending sentences in prepositions, up with that I will not put.

I think you'll find those are quotation marks, not parentheses
I thought you were just making further sarcastic fun of the sign, actually.Of course. My fingers outrun my brain again.

At least you don't whack people with a rulerI can rarely fight the urge to correct the spelling and punctuation when I quote someone here on the forum.
I have corrected some and then put them back the way they were, trying to not offend the person.
Apparently, the nuns really did a number on my mind.
Everyone makes mistakes, but some of the stuff that is written is amazingly bad....and we have spell-check helping as you type!!

The abuse went way beyond that.At least you don't whack people with a ruler.
...I could probably still diagram a sentence, if someone's knuckles depended upon it.![]()
I'm almost more horrified by the spit stains above it to the right.![]()
Do you have a red Sharpie? Make the corrections and give them a C+

I went the Catholic School in the 50's and early 60's. Not as bad as your experience but still not good. There was one nun in particular that was sadistic. The abuse went way beyond that.
One nun swung an oak pointer at my brother and hit him in the eye. Another nun swung at another of my brothers and split his lip with a ball point pen.
Another nun grabbed my wife (as a child, ..we went to the same school) so hard by her forearms that she drew blood with her fingernails and left bruises, this was for not walking quietly enough (this nun had a thing about the girls walking on tiptoes to be quiet) down the hall.
I had a priest teacher sneak up and punch me square in the back of my head for talking to the kid next to me in class, I was 13.
A nun locked a 7th grade girl classmate in a storage closet for 5 hours because the girl's uniform was not to regulation.
Meanwhile, the priests were touching some of us alter boys very inappropriately and pushing for reciprocation, we found out years later that my younger brother was molested.
The former principal priest in my high school (the year before I got there) left the school and the priesthood to marry a senior year student.
One priest got caught sleeping with one of the young nuns when my younger brother was in 8th grade, they left to get married.
I think our elementary school was the most dysfunctional in the whole diocese.
The two catholic high schools that I got thrown out of were bad but were nothing compared to our elementary school.
