If Only There Was A Store Like This...

Its called New York City.

Not so much anymore. Ever since Sam Ash bought out most of the storefronts on 48th street, it is a little harder to find many brands. When Manny's was still Manny's (before Sam Ash bought them), there were all sorts of high end basses and unusual models kicking around.

The spot for high-end stuff is Rudy's, but even their inventory is limited. You can find plenty of Fodera's and Ritters, but a Roscoe or F bass is a little harder to come by.

Of the stores I've physically been in, Bass Central has the largest selection, by far. Also, they guys there were very cool. They were salesmen, but they also understood "I just want to try out a bunch of stuff."
