If only two I guess I'd have to leave my old Fenders out.

It would be (in no particular order):

- F Bass BN-5
- Sadowsky Vintage 5 string

In fact if I was forced to sell all my basses, heaven forbid, I would be more than thrilled with these two basses. They are both the best basses I've ever played.

There have only been 3 or 4 other basses that have stood out in my mind as something that I should have. A Fodera Monarch 4, two different Conklins, a Roscoe SKB 6 and a Zon Custom 6.

The lakland would take care of most of my needs. Its got the punch, the warmth, and the jazz tone along with the durability of quality craftmenship. I'd take the P bass becuase they have an awesome unique sound IMO and I love them.

My next bass is going to be a custom 6'er , but thats a long ways away, im still saving for a new amp (Hartke 3500 and avatar 2x10. I'll add a 15 last) and considering Im 14 I dont have a job so it really sucks.

But I am REALLY happy with my Schecter 5 string. It's tuned EADGC and it handles everything I do which is mainly jazz, and it can rock your cock without the low B, trust me. THis is my main bass right now and I have a Fender MIM jazz w/badassII bridge backing me up. And forget about the Squier fretless! It's worthless!

Either way, if my schecter needs to go in for a repair, I can live with the Fender, I just cant do much upper register work. I'd like to tune that with a high C (ADGC) when I get a new rig that will handle a low B so I can string the Schecter with a Low B. Surprisingly, I can't live without a high C now, but can live without a low B. But I need the low E so Im never gonna play a tenor 4 string as a 'main' bass.

If I had the money, the schecter would be the backup and a Peavey Cirrus 6 would be my main bass (although its not Fodera status, it surely kicks arse!)

i agree with dancehallcrasher i bought my dingwall over the phone from sheldon sight unseen it was sent to me a couple of months later it is the greatest bass i ever owned recording engineer's love it and ever since 97 i have endorsed these basses
