Yes. If I were to have only one bass, it would be a P bass. It is only a one trick pony if YOU only know one trick.

My standard reply to this "only have one" question is "Then I wouldn't have any. I'd sell everything, and ride off into the sunset on this". But, you did ask nicely, and since you say you want stats?
Then, I'd have to say - not a P-Bass. I do have one; an A-necked '78. My first bass; plays like a P-Bass should; lots of sentimental value, too. But... no. I'd have to go with this one; my '95 Alembic Epic. 'Cause, really; who would leave their Alembic behind?
