No 5 strings?? What's up with that??? :hmm:

Yikes!

I don't think I can do "everything," but here's the list so far:

Lakland -- Bob Glaub 5 string, plus "anything new"

Ernie Ball -- Sterling 5

Vigier -- "Everything"

Warwick -- "All"

ESP -- "All"

I'm adding this one, Brubaker. I walked past his booth and was blown away with the quality of his workmanship. Oh, and they sound good too ;)

I'm not sure how well the "all" requests are gonna work. For the big builders, there's just too much to take pictures of. The more specific you are, the more likely I can get your photo.

Just one more for your list: if you find yourself over by the DINGWALL booth, please take a shot of it, and in particular, get one of the 5-string ABII with Bearclaw Quilt top and Hipshot D-Tuner:D If you don't see it, tell Barry or Sheldon that Jonny Martin from London, UK would like to have a pic of the bass he reserved a couple of days ago! :hyper: :bassist:

I forgot my camera today and I will not go back until Sunday... I'm sure someone will post soon. There is a lot of good stuff to see.

Hey Mark!!! Great hangin' with you yesterday!! Here's a pic of some awesome basses at the Low End booth!!! I just missed getting a pic of your new bass!!! I am particularly fond of the white LEJ four string on the right....

with an EMG and a Piezo bridge, poorly made in Asia - they've been around for years. One of my students had one, action was ridiculous, piezos not seated right, magnetic pickup not installed right, it was a nightmare to fix.

They're OK, but I wouldn't recommend one unless you get it really cheap. And check that the electronics aren't totally butchered - cost my student over $300.00 to fix, and that is about all I'd pay for that thing.

Cheers,
Cameron

Looks like a Spector.

OK.

Added to the list are

MTD -- Jazz or other Protos

Warwick -- Star II

F Bass -- "All"

BTW, Peavey did indeed have the V3 displayed. This will be my 1st attempt at attaching a photo. I hate to say it, but it sounded weak. The high end was on vacation, and the low end sounded flat and muffled. Another bassist tried tweaking it and came up with the same results. In contrast, the V2 next to it sounded very nice. Sometimes they show stuff before the final version has been set. Hopefully that's the case with the V3.

Gotta go. Will post again on Saturday.

Be well,

Thanks, Stan. Too bad to hear she's not so hot sounding :crying:

SpectorCore 4. It was covered earlier.;)

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I love Spectors, but they really haven't got anything new. I think the exotic wood angle's been done to death. How many different spalted basses can you debut? C'mon Stuart!
