Sorry; no "carrot", no vote. However... of the two, the CAR looks the least obnoxious with a tort pick guard. If I were forced to pick one and (shudder) keep it, it would have to be that one. And, for the record; I don't like red, either..

I'd properly keep the black one and put on a black pickguard on it, if based on looks only.

I am with the crowd here though that would suggest you to look beyond looks and go for the one that feels and sounds best to you.
