I voted for the CAR bass but I take it and bring up to date. First lose the tort and replace with a black or white pearl guard. Lose all the shiny chrome and Replace all hardware with quality bridge and tuners in black to include all black screws, bolts and nuts.

What about all the electronics? Ever Consider a complete overhaul there? Then finish it off with new strings and a pro setup.

Or just sale it to me so I can do all that.

Black with tortloaf and super clean. Or candy apple red with tortloaf and pretty worn.

All other things being irrelevant, which do you keep based solely off looks.

Both are pretty sweet and I am a fan of black basses (just picked up a black 2002 MIM Fender Jazz and am replacing the white with a tort pickguard). However, the crimson is really beautiful and I voted for it.
Is your wife or significant other making you choose? If so, fight the power and keep both (maybe lose the partner? I kid!! I kid!! Or do I?).
