I'm at it again...NBD tomorrow (SQUIER?)

Too bad I couldn't access the Facebook link you posted. But it doesn't matter because I'm trying to find a used one in my area and I really want to have a go with the VMV. I'm not sure where it was but I read Fender is releasing a new colorscheme for the VMV. If I remember correctly it was an Olympic white with the maple/blocked neck VMV.

This thread here has it:
http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/new-squier-vm-series-997850/
Notice also the 5 P's in white, sunburst, and (some kinda) red, all with maple boards.

If you read my other thread about the DP5 you will see that I just couldn't get used to the wide thin neck. The VM is closer to my SR5, and it's extremely comfortable. Well made too for a SUB $300 bass.

I had a DP5 for a while and it played nice but just was too big and bulky for me. Been on the fence for the VM for a bit I wish they had the white one available here.

Here's a nice action shot from Saturday's Beatlefest.
