Im coming to Nashville!

I couldnt be happier, or luckier, with the parents I have. They support me 100%, and thats not something you see daily with kids of my age.

I need to find a fellow Ohioan in Columbus who would let me borrow their flight case for the trip for my bass. I need to contact somebody.

Another Belmont Alum here. Great school and I don't think I would have done anything different with that experience now. Definitely take a long look at it. I served as a staff engineer/technician from 2002 until late 2005. Check out the SSL 4048 E/G+ in the B room of the Mulloy Studios. That old girl was my best friend for 6 months while I was refurbing and upgrading it.

The other thing you could do is ship your bass down there before you leave, then ship it back...if you can't find a flight case.

Thats what I told my 'rents, but they insist on me just flying with it. I cant beat em when it comes to arguments.

Believe me, I know! I plan on going there as soon as I graduate, and then attending a school for musical engineering or something. Alison and Kyle live down there, so they are establshing themselves.

Make sure you put your wallet IN YOUR FRONT POCKET, not your back one. I once got my wallet stolen in Kingstown, Jamaica during a tribute gig (where I also met somebody who's a big influence in my life), and it sucked.

Good idea, Alec. I do that at concerts and such, good idea. I might not even carry a wallet, just a paper clip with my license, money, etc.
