I'm finally going to my first concert!

First concert was Dave Mathews Band at the Ice Palace. What a disapointment. Things that sucked:

Ice Palace, nosebleed seats
Took a girl I really didn't like
We sat in seats
DMB didn't play any songs I liked

Second concert was Warped and it was much much better. Concerts without seats are awesome.

Like I told you,I'm seeing less than jake, bad religion, and hot water music,I was wondering if any of you guys have been to any of their concerts?Tell me what it was like.Ya know,if it was crazy, boring, good live, bad live,etc...

My first concert ever was Ozzfest '99. Man, that was the best one EVER. BLACK SABBATH! I was fourteen at the time and it moved me to do something spectacular. When i saw Geezer Butler annihilate his bass guitar for the bass solo before N.I.B. it made me want to play bass. It was just so awesome. About a month later, i picked up a bass and sarted playin'. Haven't put it down since.

BLACK SABBATH ROCKS!
primus was there too!:D

My first concert was in 1999 down at Victor Harbor (near Adelaide). I saw Powderfinger play on the tiny stage at the Crown Hotel supported by the excellent Something For Kate.

This sure was an explosive introduction to the live music scene! I stood in the front row and by the time PF came on I was standing right in front of a large stack of speakers. It was so loud that the sound lost definition and my ears rang for the next day. Insane. I also made the mistake of only wearing a jumper with no shirt underneath which meant I was extremely hot! Still, it was a great gig and it was good to see a live band in such a small enclosure.
