I'm in London. Where should I go?

IMG_7432.jpeg

Instead of just only the capital city, there are many regional cities, Birmingham, (Sabbath) Manchester (Magazine, Oasis) Liverpool (apart from obvious, Teardrop Explodes, Elvis Costello) Hull (Fine New Cannibals, Mick Ronson), Newcastle (Animals), Glasgow (SAHB), Edinburgh (Rezillos) to just name a few. All of these places have very vibrant scenes and cultural institutions, all less than or within 3 hours rail travel from London.
Then there's the provinces themselves, so much beautiful countryside, village pubs mentioned above, unbelievable walks, the Welsh and Scottish borders, honestly, you don't have to just visit London and say you've ticked the UK off your bucket list. It's a small country but so big on regional culture difference within a couple of miles from each other. It's a big little world.

The bass gallery in Camden - The Bass Gallery · London

Non bass related...
- eat at Dishoom and Duck&Rice
- see a show at Ronnie Scott's and/or Jazz Cafe
- Tate Modern, start at the Rothko room
- order from Andertons and have it delivered to your hotel
- and otherwise enjoy one of the best cities in the world

I've been to London many times and love it
Have also been around a little bit enjoying the uk in general. Love it here. Blackpool not so much, but i was going to a level 42 concert so that made up for everything.

another vote for the Bass Gallery in Camden. great shop. you might as well pop into the Camden branch of Guitarguitar while you're there. and the Black Heart for a pint (or whatever else).

Borough market for food
Museum district (South Kensington) for, well, museums
Tate Modern or Tate regular if you like art (new and old respectively)
a walk along South Bank if the weather holds

I also really enjoyed Camden Market. Also the Tower of London should not be missed.

I got around the city via E-Bike. You will see the city in an entirely different way. You’ll be riding along a main road, then you’ll take a left and be on a street that looks straight out of Harry Potter.
