I'm looking for a custom metal pickguard..

There's very likely a machine shop or two in your area that will take one off jobs just like yours. They have everything they need to do a very nice job of making a pick guard.

Just be sure to be very specific and precise when you're describing what you want. They tend to be pretty literal in their interpretations of what you tell them to do. They won't see it as a creative endeavor.

I've made them in the past for other projects but I'm willing to let someone else do it for some coin hahaha.

I'm assuming I should just give it a go myself since I have the proper tools and experience.

"If you want something done right, then do it yourself", right?
