I like to keep my basses in nice cases (said Longfellow.)
Well, they tend to stay nicer for a longer period of time if you take care of them.
Anyway, I got this one and IMO its stunning:

I'm not sure if there is such a thing as day-glo gold but if there were, this would be it. It positively glows! G&G Deluxe in Brown with gold plush (poodle) interior.

Well, kinda.
It's their proprietary process of cutting (trimming) the fur.

Oh! That's very nice! That's not tweed, is it? More like a cream Tolex, correct?
Strangely, I had a silver Vintage Rickenbacker case with blue poodle that was gorgeous but I sent it back (due to a minor quality issue.) It was also drop-dead gorgeous.

That Cream is beautiful. I'd have jumped on that in a heartbeat but I'm thinking it must have been a limited edition somethin'somethin. Luckily, I have more Jazz Basses than cases so there's always hope.

G&G seems to do that, as they come and go. Here's a Black and Olive tweed G&G that even has the 1970s style fender badge on the front. Fairly unusual (I think):

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack your thread. Ima case freak too, and you got me all excited. Funny thing is, when an electric guitar or bass leaves my house, I usually carry it in something kinda beat (and a little oversize with extra crap in it). Congratulations on the acquisition !!

That Olive tweed is quite fetching as well. Have you applied any kinda of protective coating to it? Poly? Clear Lacquer?

I have an inexpensive tweed case and the fender amp guys said to use a honey polyshade minwax. It turned out a little splotchy. If I had to do it again, I'd just use clear polyurethane ... or clear lacquer and let it patina naturally.

Is that a rosewood tele à la George Harrison? Koa, perhaps?

I've never put anything on a case. Perhaps I should study-up on that. As for the tele, I think it's Palo Escrito. I've gone through a lot of teles, and that attracted me with the look, but I kept it because it works well for me.

Who'd think that case building would be so interesting. When I see a nice case now I'll be reminded of their back story. Thanks for the link!

Beautiful, but I could never own a case like yours. Instead of actually practicing I would just gaze at the open case for hours on end.
