Have a cab that is rated at 4ohm , and another rated at 5.3ohm. Running them together. What tap from my amp is best 4 or 2 ohm?

2 ohm.

In parallel (running them together), you’re looking at a combined impedance of 2.28 Ohms so you want the 2 Ohm tap, definitely.

Doing the math comes out to 2.28, so yeah, 2 ohm tap.
