So I saw this come up on reverb..

After thinking about it for all of five minutes, I flipped over the $1,130 AUD (incl shipping) and I can't wait. I have a deep connection with the 700rb ii. I saved up for a second hand one for over a month when I was 17 (it was only a fraction of what I'm paying NOW) and I fell in love. I've been missing the unique character dreadfully since it was stolen all of those years ago. I'm still playing Hartke cabs. I know what I'm getting! Or heck, might pump it through the Eden combo, bypassing the other head which I love too. Or maybe it's bi-amp time! I've never done that! Man! The possibilities!

That's a great amp. I have been using my GK 1001RB for years and they really do have a signature sound and all the bells and whistles you could ask for in one package.

Can't go wrong with that one, enjoy playing it man, it's going to rock! Congratulations!

Thank you! It's a legendary bass amp, and it's mine for the second time. This one ain't ever leaving my sight. I just hope it turns up in A1 condition and in the three weeks specified.

I have 2 amp/cabs set up at my jam space, i have run one totally clean and the other with whatever effects... its the perfect blend. Not portable but fun to play with.
Currently im running an A/B/Y switch and my looper... i can send a looped bass line through one rig and noodle on top of that through the other rig. Mostly for messing around, I don’t need or use all that in my band setting but hey, if you have the gear, put it to use!!!

Nice one! You can’t go wrong with these. I spent years saving up for a 1001rb and it was everything I hoped it would be and more! I still have it now even though I don’t play much these days…

Dude! You gotta help me her, haha. How do I stack my 4 ohm cabs and sit this guy on top without accidentally creating a 2ohm load and blasting myself into the sun..

The 700rb was genius for its time, and still stands up to and dominates the crap out of the newer stuff. In fact, it fits right in. This head transcends time and genre..

I once had a 1000rb. I belive they stoped making it and started the 1001rb. From what i remember the 1000rb had a double sided circuit board that had issues.
I really liked it when it worked. Always been looking for another one tho.

I never owned the 1000rb, but I knew someone who did. That guy wouldn't shut up about how perfect it is. I'm not sure about issues, he talked it up like he worked for them.
