As good as it gets IMHO. I have found a lot of MIM basses to be as good as US, Vintage, or, even, the ridiculously overprices sadowskis.
for once Im trying not to be a gear head, but I had a 2011 Jazz5 american deluxe.... honestly, it was a sluggish dump truck. This is gonna be fun and the color is nice. its a 1992 model I believe... fingers crossedIn my experience, impulse buys are never fulfilling for very long.
I would advise saving up for something of better quality, like an American Standard, which despite what some may say are much better instruments than MIM models.
My 2 cents...love the color though!

Thats what he said! (couldn't not)Even if you get tired of it after the return period you probably can sell it for what you bought it for. Pretty close to a no risk purchase.
PS ....I just started playing a Double Bass. yummmmmmmmmmEven if you get tired of it after the return period you probably can sell it for what you bought it for. Pretty close to a no risk purchase.
Lets look at it realistically...its wood and metal. How is it possible people are shelling out thousands of dollars for the exact same thing under the guise of "Booteek".
ooohhh.....better "fit and finish" ***???
So is a steel cable strung between two trees. We can indulge in false equivalencies all day on this subject.Lets look at it realistically...its wood and metal.
Nothing at all wrong with inexpensive instruments, but I never understand why people are bothered by folks who buy expensive ones. Trust me, we know what we're doing. How is it possible people are shelling out thousands of dollars for the exact same thing under the guise of "Booteek".

. Experienced players should be able to easily tell the difference. Whether the difference is relevant or important to you, that's another story.
