Here's mine, which is actually iOS based. Bass to Audio Technica wireless, wireless to TC Electronics Intelligent Harmonizer, then to Focusrite iTrack Solo to iOS device to process in JamUp ProXT. From there, the signal comes out of the RCA - 1/8" into an Art Cleanbox Pro, channel 1. That send is balanced at the CBP and goes to the board/snake.
The return send (XLR) comes back to me from my monitor mix into Channel 2 of the Art Cleanbox Pro to unbalance the signal and that goes into a Digitech Studio S100 (just for compression, Noisegate and EQ), then into a BBE362 Sonic Maximizer and then to my IEM transmitter to my bodypack to a set of Shure SE215s. We run this rig in small clubs and large stages including festivals. Never had an issue with an unfamiliar soundman not being able to provide me with a good signal and a good mix for the monitoring side, so I don't bother splitting my bass signal out and sending it to my own mixer. Besides, I'd also have to split and send my own vocals.
What you could do, on the side, is build a passive splitter box that you plug all your stage inputs into, that will send your signal both to FOH and to a separate board, from which you can also use for rehearsals, etc. With a system set up like that, your monitor system will never change. However, if you're doing multi-band festivals, don't expect to get a sound guy to undo all his sends to his snake, plug them into your passive splitter, and then re-send them to his snake. But for regular gigs where you may not always be dealing with a familiar sound company, this could give you some more control and consistency with the entire band's monitor mixing needs.
