In ear setup for a gig ?

Hi everybody,
This summer I got a gig in a restaurant, piano and upright bass duo.
We had a lot of fun but sometimes people were talking so loud it was hard to hear ourselves.
I think to come next year but I would like to ear myself and the piano better, while cutting the others sounds. I was thinking about in ear systeme but I was wondering if it would be complicated/expensive. We were already mic but the return monitors were outisde
Please help me

Maybe in the amps forum they can answer better. As far as I know, it wouldn't be more complex than a floor monitor. Expensive? Maybe yes. If you go this route remember to check the batteries, and get good headphones, preferably with removable cable (trs to mmcx, shure's line has that connector) so you don't need to throw away the headphones if the cable goes bad, just buy a new cable

Get a Behringer PM1 or PM4. They are under $50 and work great. Clip to your belt and you can control the volume form the unit too. It's a wired setup, but if you don't move around much, it's perfect.
