What's the price point for that Jazz model? That $899 Brute bass looks interesting as well. Not sure I like the neck p/u position though.

Price hasn't been set, probably will be when Kevin's back in town next week. I can pm anyone then.
I can double check but I think the neck and bridge pickup are in the same position as they are on my 78 Jazz (which I coincidentally happened to drop off prior to this build
). Then again, this may be one of the things that was changed on the final. I'll also have to double check the scale, not sure what it is on the four.
The new Brute line is based on the NBP or pickguard model basses. Looking for feedback on this bridge, Kevin did the same with the knobs on my fretless six:

That finish would blend in nicely in an acid-trip.
That's an interesting system for the neck on the 4 string. Is the neck bolted above or behind the pickup and is the pickup routed through the tenon? Looking at the picturs of the bass before finishing it looks like the tenon is laid out past the pickguard, is that the reason for the burst around the guard? I love Kevins paint work around the Spalts, beautiful, works of art!
Brad, the 10 looks amazing, i'd never seen the xtreme that the brute were bases off before either, looks incredible.
