Boy. This bass looks real familiar. Ha. It sounds like a Jazz on steroids. Love it.
The 12 string tuned in the circle of 5ths - Hmmm... I could play a whole set and never set my beer down, even if they called something like Giant Steps.
KO
I didn't read the whole thread,...just glanced over the pics, so I don't know if I'm the only one with this gripe,...but the lack of contrast between the PG and the fingerboard on that Jazz is a bit much for me. It may look good if the fingerboard was stained and finished to match the PG or an all together darker wood (ie rosewood or ebony) for the fingerboard was used. Otherwise it's a beautiful bass. The burst detail around the PG is nice.
EDIT: I know Brubaker's rep and it's build quality is top notch,...just offering up a little constructive criticism.
Good thing Kevin(Brubaker) asked for your input![]()

I have just that much clout round these parts.

Brad, I have been wondering what is up with Kevin's Jazz bass... Those pictures are amazing! Is he in production on that model and if so, what is the price? Are the 5's 34" scale?
Ash on Ash with Ash neck, Maple board JXB-5. Didn't get a chance to check this one out...
