Do you happen to know how Kevin applies those gorgeous transparent color finishes? Is he using a spray, dye, stain, or a combination of the above? Just curious...

Oh my...I didn't think I would have GAS so soon, but I feel some a brewin. The burst around the pickguard is killer, I mean the finish is just perfect IMO. A rosewood board and different knobs and I would be all over that (although knobs are easily changed).
I'm curious, are they any soundclips of this baby?
The only ones I know of were from the season opener on Bobby Jones' Gospel on BET. I've been trying to get a recording of that... I was there and even I couldn't believe what that bass sounded like. Massive. It belongs to an audio engineer/bassist friend of mine here in Maryland. I'll check with him and see if he's recorded it.
