Well, famous for a rockabilly bassist is a lot different than being famous as a classical or jazz bassist, meaning that there's a lot less talent involved and more of being in a famous band.

Well, that is also not generalized, and pretty standard technique for a specific genre.

His hands look crazy, but he can play that genre and he can also sing and play which isn't exactly easy.

I find it interesting that while explaining ascending chromatic notes on the E-string he says, "Alright, so we've got E, F, F-sharp, G, and G-flat."
