Intonation Is Overrated ...

Yes, I was comforted by the clear pic of serial number fmduhsremnf. Can't report a seller for not knowing what the heck they're selling - that'd wipe out all my "old valve amp" or, even better, "old amp" steals that I've had in the past.

The crucial question is: does that quality jack cable come with the bass?
The only way that jack placement could be better would be if it was in the middle of the row of knobs!

I can't report this jerk. I hope someone here who is a registered user will take a moment and report it.
the seller may not be a jerk. more likely inexperienced (but hopeful, obviously) or ignorant/stupid. how do you report stupid? what ramifications/consequences would reporting stupid have for all of us here at TB? :D

@StereoPlayer I'm ashamed to admit I had many, many years of blaming "cheap, copy bass tuners" for suddenly G_DOIINK, dropping a tone and a half, and collecting a few eyeballs of unsuspecting punters making their way to the toilet at gigs, before I learned there is a better way of stringing. I praise the Youtube video for educating cheapskate, book-purchase-avoiding DIYers like myself. I could recommend Youtube for a commendation from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA)
