My great-great grandmother was a fiddler from Scotland. Her grandaughter (my grandmother) played bass in a gospel group with my my mother and grandfather. I inherited her Haegstrom bass. I will hopefully have a house in my own name soon - a condition set by mother for inheriting my grandfather's ES-335.
I play guitar, mandolin, and am now learning bass-although I learned my first bass lines on an electric guitar (Crush, Billie Jean).
