Ipod Nano?

Mark Wilson said:
Not to hijack or anything, but if a production model 7 came around the was the same quality as the GT-7, and approximately the same price, It wouldn't be good for my bank.

Anyways. I think I'm going to get the 30gb. Just makes more sense. The 4gb nano or whatever is going to be too small, and the 8gb is the same price as the 30gb. Just makes sense. That's almost triple the space (I don't actually know. I'm bad at Math)

Keep em coming! Any problems? etc etc
Makes more sense for some, including you, but not for my preferences which puts size above capacity... which is why they sell a lot of both sizes! :D

Anyway the 8gb capacity is plenty for the music that I need to carry me through the day and I suspect it is for a lot of people who buy the larger ipods as well.

One of my friends bought the 80gb video model and has about 5gb worth of music, no videos.
Nothing wrong with buying more than you need, as it allows room to grow.

I have a paltry 15GB ipod that is now going strong after a little over 3 years. The battery has diminished somewhat ( a class action lawsuit was filed that i was never notified about) but it still kicks ass.
I have never filled it to maximum capacity, but I would never need to. I can take hours upon hours of music with me and I will never repeat a song (unless I want to)

I bought the 8gb nano when the 2nd generation first came out. I didn't want a large ipod with a hard drive because I run quite frequently so the smaller nano was more efficient for me. It is currently filled about 3/4. I still have plenty of room for what I want it for.

If you don't run, work out, or are not going to be using it during any physical activity then go for the larger one. But be careful with it, i've heard nasty stories about those hard drives.

To each their own.

I laughed at the iPod people until I got a shuffle for my birthday. It is now my companion for chores, working out, and shifys as the telemetry tech at the hospital. (I am in a staffing pool, so I don;t know which floor I'm going to, or what role I'll be functioning in until about a half hour before I leave the house. Telemetry is the most boring job in the hospital.)
