Has anyone used this with a first-generation iPod touch? The reason I ask is because that's what I have, and there IS NO signal input jack. My belief was that the iRig used the audio OUTPUT jack, not the input.

Tim,
I don't have the ipod but the iRig would need to use both the input and output sections of the ipods input. Hence the 3 ring plug. If the original ipod touch was not designed to work with a microphone/headset then you might not be able to get the irig to work.

Apple's website claims it works, but they must realize that just because the SOFTWARE works on the first-gen iPod touch, doesn't mean it will REALLY work. Too bad I already bought it....
