FMerons will be next, but I have bad news after that. Due to the global component shortage situation, after the FMerons I won't have the parts needed to build any of the current IE pedals. It's looking like they won't be available until the end of the year, maybe beginning of '22. So I will have to pivot to making some different things with the parts I'm able to get my hands on.

That's really sad news as your pedals are some of the most original stuff out there for bass. Are you missing a bunch of parts or is it mostly the FV-1 shortage affecting you?

More often than not, sellers on reverb are willing to sell at a considerably lower price than the offer, especially if you establish direct contact outside the site. The higher prices usually account for the seller fees, and it works in favor for the buyers too most of the time, eliminating extra costs for tax and shipping.

So, while unfortunate that we won't be seeing any of the current pedals... what sort of stuff are you thinking of? Necessity --> Invention sort of stuff? Or other things that you've had on the back burner? Or something else entirely?

I tried offering the Dubterranea guy on Reverb $335 and he declined me!! He's going to cave eventually, keep being patient and someone will get it for a hopefully decent price. Edit* looks like he's dropping steadily!

Totally. If you want an oompa loompa now daddy, then you're gonna have to pay for it, but good things do come to those who wait and can maintain patience.

That's a bummer on the FMeron. I tried it in the past and did not gel with it at all...things being what they are, I feel like if I am in the right place/time when the drop happens, I may have to give it another swing and if we don't gel again, pass it along to another thread poster at cost.

Hey Taylor, while this is sad...I'm really interested to see what "pivot to making some different things with the parts I'm able to get my hands on" means. Sometimes this kind of adversity breeds new creativity and maybe some quirky stuff. I know it's hard given your bread & butter is the stock stuff, but it would be cool to see what a line-up of 'austerity' pedals might look like.

For me a little bit of FM generally goes a long way, the beauty for me is the simple envelope control that adds so much flexibility and the two lower octave settings which are both super useful.

Im sure whatever it is will be awesome. I've got a few of your pedals and while some are hard to wrap my head around (like the newly acquired Diviracator) I have a lot of fun exploring the different tonal palettes they provide.

I do hope you go back to making the handfinished/airbrushed enclosures at some point, but I know they are a lot of work and the older we get time is in increasingly short supply.

I’ve had a small handful of IE pedals in my time. I wish I could’ve kept them all. He makes some of the coolest stuff. His chorus pedal is the bizz-neezzz’ss! I always and still want a Nimbus. Now I see this arching Prisms… what’s this?!? And now you’re going to be somewhat MIA till next year coming up pretty soon?! :( sorry to hear that @Taylor Livingston. But yeah, I’m missing some IE on my board. Always really dug your work man. I still remember the first time I learned of you years back. Saw your pedals and was like hell yeah! You we’re doing things back then a lot of companies are doing now stylistically in some ways. In my eyes anyway. You def got the looks and the tones goin. Kudos
