*disclaimer: I know Taylor is on here, and Facebook, and Instagram, but don't want to bug him with "when will you _____" questions. So I figured I'd ask the collective here...

Probably a dumb question, but I've been out of the loop and am apparently late to the party... I didn't know Taylor moved to a preorder system. How often does he open those up, and how limited are the numbers? I've never even bothered trying to get a Broughton because they seem to be unobtanium, has IE become the same?

I (stupidly) let an FMeron go because I already had the Future Impact and C4. But I've apparently felt the need to revisit previous synth explorations due to sitting in with an 80's band, and signed up for the preorder list for the FM (along with the Dubterranea for fun, never had one of those), crossing fingers to see an email about it in the not distant future.

There have been a couple batches of the XD using this system, and the preorders seem to have lasted for longer than the usual Broughton feeding frenzy. I had no trouble getting in on one.

It’s nice to have one of these in my possession again!

FMeron pre-orders should be done and shipped by the end of this month, and the XD pre-orders are due by August I think. Unfortunately I don't really know at the moment anything beyond that. I would prefer to just sell things that are ready to go rather than do pre-orders, but with things how they are on the parts procurement side, pre-orders have just been a necessity.

The Oxide is iMO, one of the top three all time fuzz pedals.
Well, I’m definitely liking the Oxide more than the Maestro so far. It’s replacing the Maestro so I feel really good about that decision. The range of the morph knob is insanely versatile. You can get a super choked out gated sound or full on balls to the wall dirt. Very impressed so far. I will say the DubT > Oxide is very tasty though!

Agreed that the oxide > maestro since the maestro is more polite for lack of a better term and the oxide is nasty but controllable...like a good lover.

Dammit, apparently I just missed the FMeron, eh? Well, I know you said you don't know beyond the XD preorders, but will just say that I'm very much hoping for another batch of FMerons coming up soon. :)
