Iron Ether Appreciation Society

That's what does it. The perception that you won't be able to get it...that fomo...but in reality.if you REALLY want it you can just pay a bit of a markup. That's what has really driven the prices and gotta have it vibes around iron ether, 3leaf, etc...like everyone is saying I sold it...but now that it seems like it might be hard to get again you won't sell it...or in some cases, now you want it when you previously didn't.

It's funny how the demand builds based on just.chatting about it. I hang in some other pedal circles and each circle has their gotta have it's...which the other circles could care less about.

There's a part of me that wants to snag the FMeron currently on Reverb for exactly that FOMO reasoning (which I've given in to in the past!), but I don't need/want it bad enough to pay that $150 markup. I'd rather hold out and support Taylor if he puts up another preorder. (crossing fingers for "when" instead of "if" though)

5sg.

Time to get Varicat'n

Always wanted one of these, for the folks out there how/what did you run in the loop, and any luck running an expression pedal instead? Before or after? I have mostly envelope, filter, octaves, fuzz and EQs at the moment

Yessssss finally some Divaricator talk. It's powerful, and can do some wonderful things to your tone, but it takes a lot of experimenting to figure out what works for you.

I have it in the middle of my chain, right after my comp and my Subterranea, and right before my XD. The only exciter I use regularly is the Growl, and in the loop I've got a Fairfield Accountant (basically there to compress and color all the excited frequencies above the low mids) and a bass chorus. I keep the clean and the Hi/Loop at noon and the low knob about two hours above that for a slight low end boost. I tried the XD at the end up the loop and wasn't really into it, but it's great right afterwards.

I also use a Coppersound Labyrinth to switch the Chorus in and out of the Divaricator loop (if you go back a few pages in this forum you'll see some questions I had about wiring this). This has some interesting and unintended side effects but overall the Div acts as sort of the "brains" of my board, with many options as to how I can make subtle and not so subtle adjustments to my tone.

Cool, yeah I remember you asking about it. I think I'm going to try out my two fuzz pedals in a hpf loop first, its after my envelopes and octaves and before eq, comps before and after. I have a fea growler that will contend as well, hopefully I can use both, differently

Yeah the best thing to do is just try everything. This pedal is super cool.
