I'll probably get an EP-3 when the XD arrives. Read the range of motion is a little limited? Looks fine to me in demos...
I used the EP-2 for a while but it took up way too much of my board. I have the Sonicake Vexpress now and it takes up about as much real estate as a Boss pedal, with no noticeable difference in range from the Moog:
I've been using the Dunlop Mini Volume X as my expression for a while now in a variety of applications (individual pedals, HX Stomp, and currently through my Morningstar MC6 to control multiple pedals) and have been quite happy with it.

I use a Mission Engineering Expressionator to be able to control the XD, Frantabit and any other 3rd pedal and customize the experssion range for each pedal. The expression pedal is an Ernie Ball VP JR modded as an expression pedal by a TBer (but he does not seem to be active anymore). I really like the feel of the VP JR. If I had to buy one now, I'd probably look at the Mission Engineering ones. dunno about the EP3 but the older Moog ones are in plastic and don't feel very sturdy/reliable imho. I have an older one for free + shipping in the euro classifieds if you want one.

there was word they were making a new module that did everything the SA Reflex does, just no rocker/pedal. Very similar to the expressionator by mission engineering, which would be a great option for someone that already had a nice expression pedal, along side the SA I have Dunlop DVP3, and its very smooth. Add an expressionator with it and you can tailor the expression sweep more than any other I've seen, including the reflex (which as you can see has gone through the roof in price)
Might be worth thinking about getting a cheap expression pedal like the ones many here have recommended and a switcher from someone like Saturn Works Saturnworks Pedals - Shop if you want to control multiple pedals.
Not sure if it's ok to self-promote here, but I've got an EP-2 and a Saturnworks TRS switcher up in the classifieds right now. I'll delete if it's inappropriate.
Not really a switcher, but really a splitter/expander, the Broadband from CopilotFX is pretty useful as it allows to control 3 fx with a single expression pedal. The switches allow to inverse the direction of the sweep for each output and the knobs restrict the range/toe position.
I’ve been using a Korg XVP-20 for a long time now with my Xerograph and it works great. It’s also a very robust pedal that can handle rough schlepping.
Moog EP-3 works great with my XD. There are probably better expression pedals out there, but I find it easier to use full-size ones compared to minis, and the Moog is hard to beat for the price.
I didn't like the included TRS, but it works perfectly with a EBS Flat.

Yes, the EP-3 is very hard to beat for the price. I’ve had a couple, but move to the Korg for the lower profile action. The Moog rode a little tall for my leg. I also think the Korg’s action is a little smoother.
Hmm, maybe an expression pedal shootout is in the future. I really like the Moog with the Xerograph as well as the Spaceman Explorer, but I can see how a smoother sweep would be desirable.
