How does it work on bass? I've heard clips on guitar, and know that hz knob can shift everything.
They can sound real good on bass too.

It takes some work to dial in, and like anything this flexible, lots of room for bad tones, but some good stuff in there for sure.

Had one for a while until the SA UltraWave took over these kinda duties for me.

It's been awhile since I've used my Xerograph Deluxe and am confused by something.

When I hit the ENV switch and it goes from turquoise to blue, what exactly is supposed to be happening? I get what is for lack of a better description a " muffled " type sound. When the LED is turquoise the pedal acts as I expect it to.

Also, in the demo vid of this pedal thats out there, it starts out with a synth type sound. Is an expression pedal being used to get that? I am unable to replicate that type of sound.

When you hit the ENV switch the pedal becomes a static low pass resonant filter (think RFE low pass section). It sounds muffled because the filter isn't opening, it just stays where you have the FREQ knob set. Make sense?

And it looks like Zach is using not only an expression pedal but maybe even the After Shock before it.
