Iron Ether Appreciation Society

I'm going to try reopening this. As a general reminder, please report problematic posts and/or disagree with the content of those posts, without insults or namecalling.

It’s ok for a person to say that they aren’t fans of a pedal, but implying that someone is “not smart” is getting into disrespect. That said, the pile on that occurred was also not ok. Again, just report or speak to the content of the post.

Please, get back to the pedals. Thanks.

Glad to see the club reopened! Let’s make sure to do our part and keep it nice and positive here.

here is my collection. I think I’m missing one, but here’s what I found.

Glad to see the group back up and running!

I've have others, and can't wait to try the Arcing Prism coming out, but these are my absolute keepers. I've kind of re-found the FMeron, accidentally had my settings reversed to only find another, better function for what I use it for - a very reliable up octave.

The boards separated into 7 loops, one being the bottom left group - fuzz and XD belong together!

Now that I have my expression on board, I really want to try out some of Taylor's TRS inputs

Here's what I've got at the moment, plus an Arcing Prisms on preorder:

Super cool! What's in the loop of the Divaricator?

As for the TRS with expression, well, I think you'll have a lot of fun. The XD is a great place to start :)

Helion through the HPF, bottom row basically. Divaricator is a gamer changer, I would have to say it's my favorite, and I don't even use the exciters really, every now and then the clipping. Best single pedal x-over/blender I've used.

My favorite thing to do the Xerograph Deluxe is use fuzz>octave>XD with an expression pedal. Subterranean works great too. Usually it's You're Doom and OC2/5 but my absolute favorite is Future Impact into XD and adding OC5 when I want lower octave. Add a touch of chorus or reverb and it's heaven

I have an FMeron on order and didn't think about the octave up possibilities. That's super exciting to know! The countdown continues...

I started noticing when the FM was higher than the Envelope, with octave up, it sounded just like what I've always wanted. The ability to change the tuning is very nice too, I even liked it better than the Polys tune

I finally put both my IEs on the board. Lots of fun with this setup tonight! I wish I could try an Oxide, but the Maestro is in the same neighborhood, and it sounds great combined with the XD and Poly.

I like the XD upsweep, but I can't seem to get a decent sound out of the downsweep. It sounds way too sub-heavy no matter how I fiddle with the controls.

Sick board.

I dont know what a Super Three Hundred is but I know I want one.

I only use the XD with expression pedal & in combination with the SubT & Oxide... most evil sounding sweeps.

I'll be curious to hear how the Reflex works with the IE pedals!

It's different than most filters, most pedals really. I did setup my 3leaf envelope to open up and then xd to close, up then down, sounded really cool, but I agree the down sweep can be tricky to setup.

XD is a strange one, I complained about it from day one, but it's honestly the only IE pedal I haven't sold/re bought. The more I use it, the more I get familiar dialing it in, alot of variables

I hooked them all up tonight, XD is my fav so far, I remember the frantabit being fun too, FMeron is more suited for the auto LFO, as is the Divaricator. It's not as nice as the chrome, but the XD is fun expressed. Arcing Prisms should be really fun
