I was wondering about internal differences.
Thank you, TaylorYour 4-knob Nimbus is from around 2013 or earlier. I think it was late '14 or early '15 that the Treble knob was added to the standard Nimbus. In 2016 the Special Edition was released and the standard version was redesigned with high-end opamps and generally lower noise, lower distortion, higher headroom. The reverb itself is the same as the older version. The Special Edition adds expression control/stomp/knob that can add expressivity, or do trails bypass or other creative uses.
