I had not suffered from GAS for almost half a year and I have two of the biggest pedaltrains full of stuff. Subterranea and FrantaBit ordered.

I think it is going to be very close to the OC2 in terms of sound and feel.

The "Octave" voice is very similar to the OC2, except that the filter is variable so it can sound more dubby (filter cutoff set lower) or more synthy (filter wide open) than the stock OC2.

Is this similar to or based on the square wave generator clips on the xerograph deluxe page?

I ordered based on my experience with IE pedals and service. I ordered the FrantaBit before there were any demos, thinking I would just resell if it didn't vibe with my set up. I've used that pedal everyday since it was released. I have no doubt this will be the same situation. IE=Top Notch.

That was a prototype digital design, whereas the Subterranea is all analog. They sound pretty similar though when in square wave mode.

for sure. that's where i'm at too. i've had a few Different Octave Synth Mooflers like the Octasynth and Bit Commander. both really good pedals, i just didn't click with them.

but i am SO ready to hear Tay-Z's take on this idea. bunch of different options are GOOD too.

i'm super jiggly to play with the Uni Synth. that...... that speaks to me.

Exactly. Taylor never disappoints. IE pedals are all best in class sort of products, and usually exceed expectations even if some don't really click with me (Frantabit).
