Yeah me too. Those multi-band distortions look super cool but maybe a bit too complicated for my tastes.

See, I'll buy a really big pedal. I just don't like overly complicated ones. Too many knobs to twiddle is a bad thing.Yeah me too. Those multi-band distortions look super cool but maybe a bit too complicated for my tastes.
That's just too kind.
The SubT is definitely the one I want the most.
I think the only thing I don't "need" right now would be an Oxide (I have a few new fuzzes in the arsenal that haven't been getting the love they deserve), but I immediately regretted not buying that one on Sunday. Which I passed on since I was on a strump about missing the Subt (apparently to @Somnambulance ).
The filters seem very interesting as well. And it would be nice to have a non-MuTron voiced filter somewhere in the arsenal.
Don't worry yourself too much about it Nshuman - but your offer is very very kind.

that's my main gripe about my Swollen Pickle. Well, that there are knobs inside of it. I'll keep it based only on the fact that my platoon's motto was "I'm a pickle!" When I was in Afghanistan. I am a Pickle. I need to play my Pickle.I appreciate all the knobs WAY after I have gotten to know a pedal. Like for example, I wish the Darkglass Duality had a tone knob, or at least the ability to boost the mids a bit. But when I first start out, too many knobs and too much versatility just scares me.
Guess I have to thank Mosfed for not grabbing the oxide on Sunday. I feel your frustration as I've missed numerous times to purchase the Subt and oxide due to the time differences they were put on sale. If not mistaken, I waited about 3 months just to buy by first IE pedal (oxide).
Anyway, thanks to many fellow TBers here updating us newly listed IE pedal for sale. Keep it up guys!
I'm fairly confident that IE pedals are going to become those crazy sought after vintage effects in like 20 years.
I guess I need to save money to get Subterranea. Pretty much the only thing that's missing from my board is an octaver (and that synth goodness is a nice bonus!) since I sold my OC2.
Someone talk me out of it people! xD
Just got my SUB-T (it took three weeks to get to me!), but i am loving this thing. i do feel like it does a pretty good OC-2 impersanation and i think i have figured out where to put it in my chain. lots of fun to be had a band practice. paired with my xero deluxe it almost makes my Markbass super synth redundant... almost.
Yeah that is definetly the major plus with the MB super synth is saving presets. But the more i play the Sub-T the more i love the sound of it, and all the different tones and combinations that are available. here is a pic of the Sub-T on my board at the moment. im still figuring out wiring but you get the idea. Its kinda why i wish IE could produce a subT & Xero hybrid pedal with presets, it would make amazing synth pedal.
